It only takes 40 minutes from Exeter airport by train or taxi, 2.5 hours from Bristol airport by train or taxi, and 4 hours from London Heathrow. National Express bus is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Totnes from London Heathrow, as the 501 service goes direct from the airport. Just look for the central bus station in the airport.
