Education is at the centre of everything we do and everything we believe in. Language learning provides a key to open the door to a world of opportunities. At our schools we take great pleasure in seeing our students develop skills that will help them meet more people, find a better job and travel. The staff at Language in Group schools are also committed to training and developing and are encouraged to take courses to improve in their field. But not everybody is as lucky as we are.
You will be pleased to know that this year we will be donating 1 Euro for every student who takes a course at any Language in Group school to the Society of Poor Peoples Development in India. The money will go to a project to provide evening classes to some of the poorest people in southern India.
Quite simply this means that when you learn, somebody else has the chance to learn to.
In recent years, newly qualified teachers on the Language in Dublin CELT course have gone out to work on this project and the school director, Kevin Kelly, has spent time visiting and helping.
