Totnes Cottage

Totnes cottage accommodation is the perfect option for families wishing to combine summer holidays with a language learning experience. All the cottages are situated within walking distance of our young learner and adult centres in Totnes so you can easily walk between the centres.

You and your family will be welcomed by a Language in Totnes team member at your family cottage who will present all the information you will require while you are in Totnes and ensure the comfort of you and your family. You will be advised of the location of both the adult and junior schools as well as receive a welcome pack full of local information about Totnes and your activity programmes for the duration of your stay.

There are three types of family accommodation for you to choose between:

Family Home

These are homes belonging to our host families and are suitable for 2-4 people. The homes will be clean and tidy with space available for you and your family to store your belongings. Please be aware that some family possessions will remain in the home, as the families are only on holiday. All Family Homes will be within walking distance of the school.

Standard Cottage

These are top of the range cottages, run as commercial enterprises and therefore subject   to stringent checks by local tourism authorities as well as our own quality inspection. They sleep 2-4 people. All cottages are in Totnes and within walking distance of the school; however we may be able to arrange cottages outside of Totnes by request.

Superior Cottage

These are top of the range cottages, run as commercial enterprises and therefore subject   to stringent checks by local tourism authorities as well as our own quality inspection. They sleep 4-6 people. All cottages are in Totnes and within walking distance of the school; however we may be able to arrange cottages outside of Totnes by request.

We allocate cottages according to size of family and booking dates, on a first come, first served basis.
