Intensive English

What is Intensive English?

This course will help you improve more quickly and combines General English with an extra 10 lessons a week.

There are only 4 things you can do with a language - Speak, Listen, Read, Write - and on the General English course you will study all of them. You want to move to the next English level and we will help you reach your goal and practise grammar, learn vocabulary and develop confidence.

In the extra 10 lessons a week you will have more time to study and will focus on a variety of topics. The extra lessons on the intensive programme are not based on course books but are designed to help you develop your confidence and fluency in a variety of different ways. The lessons include conversation and speaking skills, language for business and the work place (e.g. presentations and meetings), history and culture, social English and academic English skills (e.g. note taking).
